Thomson Corporation opens centre

HYDERABAD: The Thomson Corporation has opened its global service centre here. The facility, Thomson's second centre in India, will support the company's global operations by providing knowledge-based services to its businesses in areas such as research, finance, accounting, technology and customer support. According to Thomson Corporation Senior Vice President, David Turner, the company would hire over 1,000 employees in the next three years for the centre.
