Cross country race

MANGALORE: The Corporation Bank Employees' Sports and Recreation Club here will organise a cross-country race open to residents of Dakshina Kannada district as part of the Republic Day celebrations here on January 26. Competitions will be held in two groups — open section and high school section for men and women as well as for boys and girls respectively.

The event for men and women will be flagged off at the main gate of Kadri Park while the event for boys and girls will start at the Kankanady Market ground.

The participants are required to assemble at the starting point at 6.30 a.m. sharp on January 26.

Those who wish to take part in this event should send their entries to H. Murari Rao, secretary or Rita D'Souza, Corporation Bank, CBESR Club, Head Office, Pandeshwar Mangalore. Entries must reach on or before January 15. High School Students (VIII-X) should send in their names, date of birth and class of study duly attested and forwarded through their school authorities. No spot entries will be accepted.
