Four expelled LU students surrender

Lucknow: Four more expelled students of the Lucknow University, facing criminal charges in the wake of violence on the campus last month, surrendered before police on Monday. Former union general secretary Vinod Tripathi Ram Singh, Vijay Kumar Singh Tintu, Anand Singh and Rama, who surrendered, were produced before a court and remanded to judicial custody.

So far 18 student leadershave been jailed. PTI
