NEW DELHI:
The Nationalist Congress Party on Tuesday urged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to convene a special session of Parliament to discuss the issues pertaining to Iraq and strongly condemn the execution of Saddam Hussein, a constitutionally recognised President of a sovereign country. Expressing anguish over the development, party general secretary Tariq Anwar said the former Iraqi President was executed after a "sham trial." .
