TDP too game for debate

HYDERABAD:
Telugu Desam Party leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy has accepted the challenge thrown by Major Irrigation Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah on Monday asking the critics of the Government to come forward for a public debate on Pothireddypadu.
At a press conference here on Tuesday, Dr. Reddy asked the Minister to fix the date and time for the debate, which could be held in the presence of experts and the media.
At a separate press conference, former TDP Minister Kodela Sivaprasada Rao questioned the Government's motive in taking up the works on a war footing even though Pothireddypadu was not high on the list of fast track irrigation projects.
