CHENNAI: Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi will inaugurate the distribution of free LPG connection with stove to poor families in the State here on Sunday (January 14). On the same day, Central and State Ministers will hand over the free gas connections to the beneficiaries in districts. On June 16, at six selected points in the city, Union Ministers T.R.Baalu and Dayanidhi Maran and State Ministers K.Anbazhagan, Arcot N.Veeraswami, M.K.Stalin and Parithi Ilamvazhudhi will distribute the connection and the stove to the beneficiaries.
Inspection
Principal Commissioner and Commissioner of Civil Supplies Department and the Chairman and Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation inspected the quality of stoves to be distributed to the beneficiaries in Chennai. On the inaugural day, gas connection will be given to about 34,500 beneficiaries.
