NEW DELHI: A Chinese Party School delegation on Tuesday agreed to launch a Sino-Indian policy dialogue to share development experiences in poverty alleviation and development of infrastructure in rural and urban areas. The other areas include employment promoting growth strategies; disaster management; and promotion of integrity in public administration, Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) Director P.L. Sanjeeva Reddy said here. It also identified policy initiatives in the wake of globalisation and steps to project and promote Asia in the emerging world order. The delegation, headed by CPS Vice-President Wang Weiguang, visited the IIPA and the Secretariat of the National Capital Region of Delhi to study training programmes and innovative practices in public governance to promote people-friendly public services. It appreciated the work being done by the IIPA in training civil servants and taking up action research in all areas of public administration, Dr. Reddy said.
