Two arrested
Staff Reporter
BANGALORE:
Police have arrested two of the three persons, including son of a police inspector, allegedly involved in the murder of a "bouncer" T. Gunashekar near Shooley Circle on Saturday night.
The police arrested Ajay, son of traffic police inspector P. Munirathna, and Jesudas, who is son of the head constable George. The police arrested the two in Goa where they had gone after visiting Hubli. Ajay, Jesudas and the other accused had allegedly chased Gunashekar at Sparks Pub on Brigade Road, and stabbed him to death in full public view on Saturday evening. Ajay was angry after Gunashekar had slapped him in front of his girl friend and thrown him out of the pub along with his friends.
When Gunashekar came out of the pub after his working hours, the three reportedly chased and assaulted him. Gunashekar was admitted to a nearby private hospital, where he died.
