Kite festival from Jan. 13

HYDERABAD: A four-day Kite Festival will be organised in the city by the Asa-Bhanu Japan Centre from January 13 as part of the Indo-Japan Friendship Year-2007 celebrations.

Two of Japan's leading kitists, Japan Kitists Association president Modegi and the association secretary Nakamura, will be participating.

The festival will begin at 10 a.m. on January 13 with a kite-making workshop and kite flying at the Nasr School for Boys, Gachibowli campus. Details are available over telephone numbers 93910 60209 and 93910 056400.
