Two new marks set

TENHIPALAM: Two new meet records marked the opening day of the Calicut University inter-collegiate athletics championship at the University Stadium here on Wednesday.

The records came in the men's hammer throw, in which K.P. Prajeesh of NSS, Ottappalam, broke his own record, and the men's 800m (C. Nadeesh, Sri Krishna, Guruvayur).
