NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Wednesday exhorted NCC cadets to offer their services during the Commonwealth Games 2010 when a large number of sportspersons, sports lovers and tourists would be visiting Delhi.

Speaking at the NCC Republic Day Camp where she inspected a guard of honour presented by a contingent of immaculately turned out cadets from the Army, the Navy and the Air Force, Ms. Dikshit acknowledged the role of the NCC in grooming citizens of tomorrow and said the country's future was in safe hands.

The Chief Minister also exhorted the cadets to do their best in conservation of environment and resources "to make India the country of our dreams". The Director-General of NCC, Lieutenant-General Prakash S. Chaudhary, thanked the Delhi Government for the assistance provided by it to the NCC.
