BHUBANESWAR: At least five people, four from one family, were killed and six others were injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling hit a truck parked on the highway near Dhenkanal, 80 km from here, in early hours of Wednesday. Four persons died on the spot while another person succumbed to the injuries in a hospital. The jeep carrying 13 passengers was on its way to Puri. The police said that the victims included Dharani Dhar Gaddanayak, his wife and two granddaughters. The condition of two persons was stated to be critical. Driver of the jeep fled the spot after the accident.
