NOIDA: Almost a week after the police stopped their search for skeletal remains of children near the house here of the accused Moninder Singh, one more piece of bone was recovered from a nearby drain on Tuesday.A senior police officer said the bone, spotted by villagers, was sent to the Noida Civil Hospital. "It is difficult to say whether the bone recovered belongs to a human or some animal." Following the recovery, the locals demanded a thorough search, claiming that more bones could lie buried in the drain. The police officer, however, said search operations were not likely to be resumed as the Central Bureau of Investigation was set to take over the case. The local intelligence unit in-charge inspector Shivraj Singh Yadav was suspended on Monday night on charges of dereliction of duty. Activists of the Shiv Sena and supporters of International spiritual leader and humanitarian K.A. Paulwere involved in a minor scuffle on Tuesday.
