It's spectacular: Sunita Williams
Sunita Williams
New Delhi:
"First of all congratulations, what a great accomplishment," said India-born American astronaut Sunita Williams, giving a thumbs up to Indian space scientists for the ninth successful launch of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV).
Ms. Williams was speaking via satellite from the International Space Station to journalists and students at the American Centre here.
As she signed off the 10-minute interaction, it became clear that the success of the PSLV, which carried four satellites into space, was still on her mind.
"Once again congratulations for the spectacular launch today," Ms. Williams said.
