BANGALORE: Children's education major Chrysaalis i-math India has broadened the scope of its education programme `Math Lab.' It has been redesigned to make it available to pre-school children at an affordable cost. The company will extend the programme to schools not only in major cities, but also in urban and semi-urban centres. It will provide programme kits along with training modules to individual schools. Hitherto, Chrysaalis programmes were available only through franchisee training centres and in select schools.
Redefining
The focus of the "Math Lab" will be on redefining mathematics from a confusing maze of numbers, which results in the child getting a broader perspective of problem solving and enhanced creativity through abstract learning. "Our core competency lies in not only the content, but also the methodology adopted. The driving principle is to make mathematics relate to day-to-day activities, thereby making learning a natural extension of the growth process," says Renuka, chief moderator-content development. Chrysaalis can be contacted on Ph: 080-26494956/57.
