Charge against BJP leader

Ujjain (M.P.): An Assistant Director of the State Public Relations Department was beaten up allegedly by senior BJP leaders on Thursday over an argument at a function to mark the birth centenary of revolutionary leader Chandrashekhar Azad here.

The official was roughed up when he, along with another official, was preparing to welcome a procession.

Collector Neeraj Mandloi said the official was sent for medical examination and a complaint would be filed against the leaders. — PTI
