Ispat signs MoU with Jharkhand Government

MUMBAI: Ispat Industries has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that the company has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Jharkhand Government for setting up an integrated steel plant. The proposed Rs. 6,750 crore steel plant will initially have steel making capacity of 2.8 million tonnes annually, which is proposed to be enhanced to five million tonnes in phases.
