`Cancel exam'

BANGALORE: The Government must cancel grade one and two examinations for the appointment of high school teachers as the question papers were allegedly leaked before the examinations.

The city unit of the NSUI staged a demonstration in this connection. Members of the unit shouted slogans against Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Basavaraj S. Horatti and burnt his effigy in front of Mahatma Gandhi statue here on Friday.

The examinations were conducted for filling 5,984 posts, NSUI said.
