Polygraph test

Imran Jalal, a suspected terrorist, was subjected to polygraph and brain mapping tests at the Forensic Science Laboratory in Bangalore on Friday . Police sources said that Jalal, who was arrested last Friday, would be subjected to narco analysis, subject to permission of the 1st Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate.

Power shutdown

There will be no power supply on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in some parts of the city.

Affected areas include Sarakki, Brigade Software Park, Sarakki Gate, Gangadharanagar, Vivekananda Colony, Pragathipura, Hari Colony, Ramakrishna Nagar, Family Mart, Usha Apartment, Devakinandan Apartment, 3rd (East) to 9th Block Jayanagar, 11th Main, 39th F Cross, Muniswamy Layout, MTB Industrial Area, 16th Main, 32nd, 33rd, 34th Cross, 20th to 22nd Main, Corporation Layout, Tilaknagar, South End, Sakamma Garden, Padmanabhanagar, Banashankari 2nd and 3rd Stage.

Tension

Miscreants on Thursday night damaged the portrait of Bhuvaneshwari at Siddarthanagar, near Jalahalli West.

This caused tension in the area on Friday.

Assaulted

Ivin Kumar (22), employed with a private bank, was assaulted by his old associates on Friday.

The police said that Kumar had given up a life of crime and was reformed.

A seriously injured Kumar was admitted to Bowring Hospital, the police said.
