Copying helped this college get good result

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: A Pre-University College at Humnabad in Bidar had been constantly showing 65 per cent pass result for many years. Last year, the pass percentage dropped to 13, which reduced the district pass percentage to 22. It was found that the Deputy Director of Education in that district had held a meeting with parents of students following complaints of mass copying in the examinations. In the subsequent examination, the pass percentage dropped drastically. This was narrated by T.M. Vijaybhaskar, Secretary to the Government, Department of Primary and Secondary Education, at a seminar here on Saturday.
