Manmohan to visit Assam on way back home

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will visit Assam on his way back from the Philippines, Prime Minister's Media Advisor Sanjaya Baru said.

Dr. Singh will be returning from the Philippines on Monday and spend the night in Kolkata. He will visit Assam the next day and meet the families affected by the ULFA violence.
