Tamil Nadu and Andhra triumph

Chennai: Tamil Nadu won the men's team championship in the junior National powerlifting championship at Avadi, here. Delhi finished second and Andhra Pradesh, third.

Andhra Pradesh won the women's title with Chattisgarh in the second place and Kerala third. Tamil Nadu finished first overall.

Andhra Pradesh and Kerala were second and third respectively.

Kerala's Muthun Joseph was declared the Strong Man of India and Maharashtra's Sushma Patil was adjudged the Strong Woman of India.
