HYDERABAD: Adilabad boys scored a 29-7, 29-4 win over Khammam in the league match of the 52nd Hyderabad State junior inter-district ball badminton championship at HAL Grounds here. Earlier, Kurien Mathew, AGM, HAL, inaugurated while K. Vijaya Prasad Reddy, president of RRDBA, welcomed. The results: Boys: Adilabad bt Khammam 29-7, 29-4; Karimnagar bt Mahboobnagar 29-12, 29-6 Hyderabad bt Ranga Reddy 29-13, 29-25; Karimnagar bt Medak 29-7, 29-16.
Girls: Warangal bt Karimnagar 29-12, 29-7; Adilabad bt Hyderabad 29-17, 29-15.
AP triumphs
Andhra Pradesh defeated Delhi by two wickets in the final of the 19th National cricket championship for the deaf in Nagpur, according to information received here.
The scores: Delhi 122 in 32 overs (Lokesh 54, Syed Riaz five for 36) lost to AP 126 for eight in 25 overs (Rajaram 47).
