Madhavi murder: jewels recovered

HYDERABAD: City police on Saturday recovered gold and silver ornaments, worth Rs. 4 lakhs, that were taken away from slain ex-MLA Grandhi Madhavi's house by her maid Laxmidevi and the latter's sister Bathina Guna Pavani. According police, the property was recovered at the instance of Pavani, who was recently taken into custody in connection with Madhavi's murder reported on December 19 last.
