Train schedule

CHENNAI: Chennai Central - Mumbai CST Express (6012) will be terminated at Dadar due to non-interlocking work at Mumbai CST yard from January 16 to January 20, according to a Southern Railway press release.

Health camp

A team of doctors, led by A.R. Dhariwal Jain, conducted a health camp at Sri Venkateswara Hindu Colony Middle School, Nanganallur, recently. Medical firms Apex Laboratories Limited, Tablet Pharmas Limited and Albert David Pharmaceuticals distributed free medicines.

Coaching classes

Training programme

The Don Bosco Vazhikaatti Educational and Charitable Society, which runs a centre for career guidance and job placement, is offering a training programme covering techniques to help candidates memorise, recollect and choose questions intelligently. Training would also include sessions on higher education and job prospects.

A team of resource persons would provide training during weekends from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Sri Venkateswara pooja

Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy will supervise the Sri Venkateswara pooja to be conducted on January 15 at Kuchalambal Kalyana Mandapam in Chetpet to coincide with the Sri Venkatesa Saranagati Deeksha. Seminar on tourism

A two-day seminar on "Travel and Tourism and Hospitality Public Relations" will be held in Chennai from January 19. Professionals drawn from the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors as well as the corporate sector would discuss the boom in the sector in India, said V.S. Raman, Chairman, Public Relations Society of India.

The PRSI, Chennai Chapter is organising the seminar with the support of Tourism Departments of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Union Minister Dayanidhi Maran will participate.
