And when a festival is celebrated the way it should be, with all the paraphernalia of age-old customs and traditions, it can be truly rejuvenating. Agreed, living in a metropolis, when a festival becomes yet another holiday to unwind and relax, how many of us can give it a real traditional touch even if we want to?
At Kavuri Hills
So, for those who long to be in midst of traditional ambience, the Department of Culture is offering a rich fare `Sankranti Sambaralu' at the State Gallery of Fine Arts, Kavuri Hills on January 14.
