(there being no issue of the paper dated January 15)

Music as a profession is to come to the aid of the blind in the country. The Union Education Ministry proposes to introduce a five-year course in music for the blind from next year as music is considered one of the most useful professions. Trainees who complete the course successfully will be asked to sit for examinations conducted by recognised music institutions.
