YSR to tour Anantapur

ANANTAPUR: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy will take a whirlwind tour of Anantapur district on January 16 by participating in several development programmes in Anantapur, Hindupur and Puttaparthi.

According to district officials, the Chief Minister will arrive here at 12 noon and unveil the statue of former MP, MLA and MLC late Ananta Venkata Reddy.

Then, the Chief Minister will visit Asad Farms at Alamuru near here where an Australian sheep breeding project is being implemented. Later, he will also visit slums in Rahmat Nagar area here and lay foundation for drinking water pipelines extension scheme.

The Chief Minister will also go to Puttaparthi and lay foundation stone for the four-lane R&B road from Mamillakunta to Puttaparthi (Ganesh gate).
