Nigerian to be deported

NEW DELHI: A Delhi court has ordered deportation of a Nigerian national following his acquittal in a case of cheating and using a forged passport as his visa was found to have already expired.

``Visa of the accused has already expired on January 25, 2006. Under the circumstances, he is directed to be handed over to FRRO (Foreigners' Regional Registration Office) for initiation of proceedings for deportation to Nigeria,'' Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kamini Lau said.-PTI
