Police refute news reports

Staff Reporter

Bangalore: Refuting news reports that appeared in a section of the press regarding the narco analysis report of the suspect terrorist Imran Jalal alias Bilal, Commissioner of Police N. Achutha Rao, in a press release here on Sunday, said that the "information published has no authentic basis and at best can be termed as imaginary".

A few newspapers had reported that during the narco analysis test, Imran had revealed that 400 Lashkar-e-Taiba operatives were in the State. They had also reported that he had revealed that he knew people who had carried out the attack on the Indian Institute of Science in December 2005. The commissioner said that the narco analysis report was awaited.
