New Delhi: It is problems galore for the Congress in Uttarakhand ahead of the Assembly elections and one of them is leaders with `red light' cars. Incumbent Chief Minister N. D. Tiwari, in a bid to take everyone along, has given the status of Ministers of State to a number of party leaders occupying various boards and corporations. They have also got the privilege of using red light cars and some other perks. They have now become more ambitious and many of them want a ticket in the coming elections. The Pradesh election committee comprising several leaders including the Chief Minister and PCC chief Harish Rawat had a marathon session yesterday. Another problem being faced was that Mr.Tiwari and Mr. Rawat do not go along quite well. Mr. Tiwari was made the Chief Minister after the last Assembly elections even though Mr. Rawat had led the party to victory. -- PTI
