Sports psychology conference

HYDERABAD: The Nizam Institute of Engineering & Technology (Hyderabad) will host the 19th National conference on sports psychology from January 18 to 20, according to Prof. Rajendra Singh, president of the Sports Psychology Association of India.

The Conference will debate on "physiological dimensions of sports performance, exercise and fitness" with various sub-themes such as performance enhancement, psychology, health and well-being, lifestyle management and counselling of athletes, role of motivation in management of players.

Prof. Singh informed the media here that about 100 delegates from 14 States would take part besides students and research scholars of Department of Physical Education, psychology.

Prof. Mohd Suleman Siddiqui, VC, Osmania University, will be the chief guest while Prof. R.Thrimulaisamy, VC, Tamil Nadu Physical Education & Sports University (Chennai), will be the guest of honour.
