VIJAYAWADA: The All-India Kite Association organised a kite festival on Monday in three groups -- tallest, beautiful and best-cut. First prizes were bagged by Suresh Kumar, Bhanu and Ozha, second prizes by Rajanikanth, Prasad and Suresh Kumar and third prizes by Diwakar, Priyadarshini and Venkatesh. MLA Vangaveeti Radhakrishna, who was chief guest, observed that traditional sports would rev up one's spirits. Congress leader Ilapuram Venkaiah was present.
