Rajan Eye Care Hospital holds eye camps

CHENNAI : Rajan Eye Care Hospital marked the road safety awareness week by organising free eye screening camps.

The hospital, along with the Metropolitan Transport Corporation, held an eye camp for drivers and conductors from January 1 to 6 in various places. A team of doctors, headed by Mohan Rajan, screened 1,200 staff members. Spectacles and medicines were distributed to the participants and patients screened for cataract surgery were referred to the hospital.

In another event, the hospital, with Bajaj Auto Limited, conducted a free eye screening camp for autorickshaw drivers on YMCA ground, Royapettah, from January 12 to 13. Over 2,000 drivers were screened.
