Churchill holds JCT

Ludhiana: Local outfit JCT was held to a goalless draw by Churchill Brothers in a National Football League match at the Guru Nanak Stadium here on Wednesday.

The home side missed several good scoring chances. Only star midfielder Renedy Singh made his presence felt, that too occasionally, but his attempts went in vain.

After this draw, JCT has increased its tally to four points from three matches, while Churchill moved to five from the same number of games. — PTI
