EAMCET fee goes online

Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: The Government has decided to allow EAMCET and ICET aspirants to pay their fee online using the State Bank of India portal this year apart from the regular payment through demand drafts.

The advantage, according to officials, is that students will be able save the DD charges apart from ensuring that the fee reaches the Convenors concerned intact. A senior official says the SBI proposed a few methods of payment that includes online and offline payments. Once the application is downloaded, students will be given the option of paying the fee through the SBI website.

Students can either pay online using credit card or pay offline at ATM centres or eSeva centres. The bank will charge a transaction fee of Rs. 10 that will be paid by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.
