German State Minister meets Anbazhagan

CHENNAI: Thomas Jurk, Minister for Economic Affairs and Labour and Deputy Chief Minister of the German Federal State of Saxony, met Finance Minister K. Anbazhagan at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

The meeting lasted 45 minutes. Later talking to journalists, Mr. Thomas Jurk, who is accompanied by representatives of 20 companies in his home State, said his interaction with the Minister was useful. The team got information on avenues for investment in Tamil Nadu.

Saxony was going through a process of development and reconstruction over the last 16 years. It was concentrating on infrastructure, especially roads, water supply and wastewater treatment.
