HUBLI: Dharwad Zilla Arya Idigara Sangha has opposed the proposed move of the Karnataka Government to ban sale of arrack in the State. Addressing presspersons here on Wednesday Chandrashekhara Dhavalagi, president of the sangha and Maruti Shindhe, president of Sarayi Maratagara Karmika Sangha (Union of workers selling arrack) Dharwad district alleged that the Government was taking the hasty step. In order to highlight their problems there would be a protest march, he said.
