GULBARGA: Member of the central committee of the Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI) Krishna Chakravarthi will inaugurate a three-day State-level conference of the All-India Democratic Youth Organisation (AIDYO) at the Mahila Samaj Maidan in Raichur on February 2.

Disclosing this to presspersons here on Tuesday, vice-president of AIDYO B. Bhagwan Reddy, district unit president Sharangouda Gogal and general secretary J.D. Sharanu said the inauguration of the conference would be preceded by a procession.

On February 3 and 4, a delegates' session would be held at the Infant Jesus College Auditorium. An exhibition of posters with slogans and quotations by freedom fighters and national leaders would be held from February 1, Mr. Reddy said.

Problems confronting the youth of the country would be discussed and resolutions would be passed on several issues. One of the major issues for discussion was the need for framing a national-level youth policy, he said.
