Kerala qualifies despite losing

VIJAYAWADA: Chandigarh girls stunned defending champion Kerala in the pool A league encounter 3-1 (25-21, 26-24, 11-25, 25-19) in the 33rd Reliance junior National volleyball tournament played at P.B. Siddhartha Arts and Science College grounds here on Wednesday. However, the Kerala girls made it to the knockout stage with four wins. Chandigarh's Ananya, Poonam, Ruby and Rajni played well for their team's triumph.

Chandigarh, Kerala (pool A), Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra (pool B), AP, West Bengal (pool C) and U.P., Haryana (pool D) have qualified for the knockout in the girls' section.
