Man gets life imprisonment

NEW DELHI: Relying upon the circumstantial evidence against him, a Delhi Court on Wednesday sentenced a man to life imprisonment for electrocuting his wife to death three years ago. ``It was for the accused Rakesh Sachdeva to explain the manner in which his wife Ruchi suffered injuries while she was with him on the morning of April 18, 2004. Despite opportunity, the accused has failed to establish the plea of accidental electrocution of his wife,'' Additional Sessions JudgeNarinder Kumar said.
