HYDERABAD: The Small and Medium Enterprise Expo-Infrastructure Construction 2007, a three-day exhibition featuring construction and infrastructure equipment, will begin here on Thursday.

The three-day event, which is being organised by INIS Enterprises, will feature the participation of 50 exhibitors including some reputed names in the infrastructure and construction areas.

A highlight of the event will be a seminar on the infrastructure sector and the emerging needs with participation of stakeholders including prominent industry figures and Government officials.

The event is being sponsored by the ICICI Bank in association with Puzzolana Machinery Fabricators as co-sponsor.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, ICICI Bank joint general manager Sanjeev Mantri said the event would provide a platform for the companies in infrastructure and construction segments to meet, network and seek business opportunities with relevant stakeholders.

With the infrastructure becoming the focus over the past few years and expected to reach US $ 200 billion in the next five years, the expo would act as a medium for the SMEs to network with large entities and explore business opportunities.
