Man killed over family row

Tiruchi: Sevu (50) of Kotarapatti village near Tiruverumbur was killed on Wednesday in a dispute between two families over the conduct of second day formalities after `Mattu Pongal', the police said.

Sevu, who was attacked severely with sticks, died of grievous injuries soon after admission to the Government Hospital.

The Tiruverumbur police have registered a case.
