Suicide bid: student admitted to hospital

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A first year BA student of M.G. College was admitted to Medical College Hospital (MCH) on Wednesday evening after she allegedly tried to commit suicide at her house at Thirumala fearing harassment by her seniors at the college, said the hospital authorities.

Found dead

Radhakrishna Pillai, 35, of Varavila, Karunagapally, was found dead in his house after having consumed furidan, a pesticide.
