NEW DELHI: SASTRA University is organising "DAKSH" - A National Level Technical Contest here on February 28 and March 1.

According to a press release from the University in Thanjavur, the contest is aimed at challenging the intellectual prowess of students from various universities, colleges and schools all over the country. Various events have been planned under six heads: " Compsense, ChromoXone, ElectroneIQ, Nirmaan, Robotricks & Shunyakaal", covering IT, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Biotechnology and various other application areas of engineering and sciences.

Another contest is named SASTRAPURA, inviting proposals for setting up a PURA in Thanjavur as desired by President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. More details are available at www. daksh.sastra.edu
