ERODE: A 19-year-old student of a private arts and science college near Tiruchengode was crushed under the wheels of the college bus at the campus on Friday. The incident happened around 4 p.m. when the 60-year-old bus driver, Periasamy, lost control of the vehicle after `fainting' during the evening trip. The police said Sathya of First Year BBA died on the spot. Three students who were near her sustained `minor injuries'. A management representative said the injured girls had been discharged.
