Romantic Fire wins feature

KOLKATA: Mr. D. Khaitan representing Soom Stud Farm Pvt. Ltd.'s Romantic Fire (C. Rajendra up) won the Calcutta Champions' Sprint Trophy (1,200m), the feature event of the races held here on Saturday (Jan. 20). The winner is trained by Vijay Singh.

Stewards of the Royal Calcutta Turf Club (RCTC) honoured trainer Vijay Singh for scoring 1,000 winners (he completed the feat by claiming the first race of the day).
