HYDERABAD: Mumbai notched up a comfortable 3-1 win against Uttar Pradesh on the second day of the Y.S. Jayamma Rajareddy Trophy eighth Federation Cup women's hockey championship at Pulivendla (Kadapa) on Saturday, according to information received here. Nishi Chauhan, Sadhana Singh (2) scored for the winner while Asrita Topo reduced the margin for the loser. In another match, defending champion Railways, despite a narrow 3-2 victory margin, looked to be the superior outfit against Madhya Pradesh. For Railways Jasjith Kaur, Saba Anjum (2) were the scorers and for Madhya Pradesh Kavitha Sharma struck twice in the second half. — Principal Correspondent
