THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State Bank of Travancore, Thiruvananthapuram will meet Indian Overseas Bank, Chennai in the final of the 20th BPCL KRL all-India cricket tournament. In the semifnals, SBT crushed Indian Bank, Chennai, by nine wickets while IOB scored a 108-win over BTDC, Bangalore. The scores: Indian Bank 144 in 29.1 overs (E.Suresh 42, Pramod Das 31, Anil four for 24, Manoj three for 40) lost to SBT, Thiruvananthapuram 145 for one in 26.1 overs (Prasanth Menon 76 no, M.P.Shorab 61 no) IOB 306 for seven in 30 overs (Ananthapadmanabhan 127, Gyaneswara Rao 70, Girish three for 71) bt DTDC, Bangalore 198 for seven in 30 overs (Manoj Sai 115).
