Chhattisgarh is opposing the dam even with a reduced height of 95 metres


  • It will seek Centre's intervention for a nod from Chhattisgarh
  • The project will solve all irrigation-related problems of Telangana

    HYDERABAD: With a view to resolving the deadlock over the Inchampalli project, the Government has decided to depute an all-party delegation to New Delhi seeking the Centre's intervention for a nod from Chhattisgarh.

    The delegation, led by Major Irrigation Minister P. Lakshmaiah, will meet Union Water Resources Minister Saifuddin Soz, demanding a direction to Chhattisgarh.
